With 30 years of experience in the early childhood sector, I am dedicated to ensuring that each child's educational journey is anchored in thoughtful planning and exceptional care. My passion lies in supporting center owners to realise their vision, offering comprehensive guidance through planning, construction, and financial management to successfully open and operate their service.

    Meetings with yourself/client to discuss your requirements in detail:

    Review of financial scenarios including Cash Flow and business plan

    Regular meetings with yourself and attending site meetings as required.

    Operational matters during construction to facilitate licencing and opening:

    Service Approval Application

    Child Care Subsidy application

    Preschool funding application

    Food plan and application for kitchen registration

    Management of Department visits and queries

    Equipment, white-goods, toys and furniture suggestions and sourcing.

    Policies/ notices and other compliance resources and documentation

    Staff recruitment, training and induction.

    Managing the service set up in readiness for the final licencing inspection

Launch your childcare career with ECT
We are Early Childhood Training (ECT) and we specialise in only one thing; on the job training for students studying Cert III and the Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care.
We are aware that other training programs can be impersonal and out of touch. That's what inspired us to start ECT. Our trainers offer frequent face-to-face contact, we get to know our students incredibly well, make ourselves available at all times and provide guidance based on our own professional experience.
Sam Rosenberg and Megan Sharman lead the team at ECT. Together, they have more than 40 years of combined strategic, practical and operational childcare industry experience.
